Can I Add Alcohol to a Gift Basket?
While we understand that a nice bottle of wine makes a beautiful accompaniment to one of our luxury gift baskets, Appleton Gift & Basket does not include alcohol in our designs, because we are not licensed to deliver alcohol.
Ontario has extremely strict regulations concerning the sale and delivery of alcohol, and there are very stiff penalties if these laws are broken.
A reputable gift basket company in Ontario will not include alcohol in gifts unless they are in fact licensed to do so.
At our retail store in Almonte, we will be pleased to add your favourite bottle of wine to a gift basket provided that you purchase the wine and bring it to us, and that you are also the person picking up the gift basket.
