Why Do You Ask for the Recipient's Phone Number?We require this in case our delivery person or the courier company cannot locate the recipient, due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or has difficulty locating an address. As well, when delivering fruit baskets to a residential address, we will call to ensure that someone will be there to receive the gift basket. FedEx also requires the recipient's phone number. Couriers prefer it if deliveries/shipments go to business addresses. |
